Abhishek's Pressure Leaf Filters is designed with micromesh 5-Ply metallic mesh construction leaf having a typical riveting mechanism on specially designed key frame.
 
Mode of Operation :
 
The Pressure leaf filters is a vertical steel vessel where many vertically mounted S.S. filter leaves are housed inside with the help of properly designed manifold. The Pressure Leaf filters are suitable for filter aid (pre-coat) type of filtration, i.e. filter aid / bleaching earth / fuller earth etc. has to be added for filtration. The filter leaves, filter on both sides due to which gross leaf filtration area obtained is more in relatively small sized vessel. The required oil slurry is pumped into the filter vessel, clear filtration starts as the sufficient cake is built over the leaf surfaces and filtered oil comes out through the manifold. The solid keeps getting accumulated on the filter leaves and a thick cake is formed. Once the pressure reaches 3.5 Kg/cm2, the cake is dried with hot air/steam and relived from the leaves by pneumatically operated piston vibrator and drops through a large size bottom outlet. The design pressure is 4Kg/cm2 & design temperature is 120deg.C

PURIC brand "Pulsefist" Pneumatic Piston Vibrator has been very successfully incorporated in Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter & Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters systems for various capacities.
 
The range Vibro-2001 to 2010 are of the air throttle type. PURIC Pulsefist Vibrator has a built-in self start design. The Pulsefist Vibro Series calls for minimum maintenance as the system has only one moving part.
 
The vibrator is designed to start and stop instantly so that it can be easily incorporated in manual and automatic system.

Abhishek filter's Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters are specially used when the filter cake is gummy and difficult to clean
automatically.

In this design filter leaves are easily accessible for manual cleaning. The connections are mounted on the fixed filter cover so that the same need not be opened when the Horizontal shell is retracted.

The filter leaves set is mounted on the fixed cover depending on the required application the cover closing device can be offered. The filtration surface area can be offered from 5m2 to 70m2 for both dry and wet cake removal. The cover closing design can be offered with eyebolt and nut arrangement or with the special quick-acting wedge lock automatic device.

Material of construction : Stainless steel, Carbon steel with rubber, PP, PVDF lining, Monel, inconel, etc. sealing are available in BUNA-N, Viton, EPDM, Nitrile, Silicon etc.

Working :

The liquid slurry is pumped into the filter vessel, clear filtration starts as the sufficient cake is build over the leaf surfaces and filtered liquid comes out through the manifold.

Once the pressure reaches the required designed level, the the cake is dried with hot air / steam and relived from the leaves by by pneumatically operated vibrator or by any other competent design method as required then for special application.
